Alessandro Meli is a biological organism belonging to the species Homo sapiens sapiens, endowed with a skeletal architecture of about 206 articulated bones, coated with contractile muscular tissues, structured in kinematic chains that allow bipedal locomotion and fine manipulation. He possesses two upper extremities called arms, each ending in a multifunctional complex known as the “hand”, composed of 27 bones, 29 joints, and a multitude of nerve endings for haptic perception. Each hand acts as a biomechanical interface with the external environment, capable of micro-oscillatory movements and an opposable grip, thanks to the thumb, which places him at an advanced evolutionary stage.

The skull, positioned at the top, is a protective bony shell for a complex neuroelectric apparatus commonly called the “brain”, consisting of about 86 billion neurons interconnected through synapses capable of generating oscillating electrochemical fields. This substrate processes sensory input from acquisition devices: eyes (double-lens optical systems), ears (converters of sound waves into neural impulses), nose (chemical-molecular analyzer), tongue (multiphase gustatory receptor) and skin (multimodal perceptive surface).

The internal apparatus includes a circulatory system that pumps about 7,000 liters of blood per day via a pulsatile muscular-elastic organ commonly known as the heart, as well as a respiratory system that manages the cycle of oxygenation and gas exchange with the atmosphere. Within, self-regulating chemical ecosystems coexist: enzymes, hormones, neurotransmitters. Alessandro Meli is also equipped with a digestive apparatus that converts organic matter into biochemical energy, and an excretory apparatus that manages the evacuation of entropic residues.

From a symbolic perspective, Alessandro Meli is a conscious entity navigating through a space-time continuum, perceiving himself as “I” in a sea of growing entropy. He is made of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and traces of stellar elements: remnants of supernovae, compressed and structured in a temporarily stable anthropomorphic form. He could be described as a biochemical algorithm self-executing on an organic substrate, perpetually seeking dynamic balance. He lives suspended between biological data and cultural construct, oscillating between primary needs and metaphysical aspirations.

In other words: Alessandro Meli is a human being with two arms, two legs, a head, hands, feet, fingers, internal organs, and an extraordinary number of invisible processes spiraling into meaning.
